Seasons are a great metaphor depicting our journey with Christ. Different seasons come and go. They represent external things we cannot change; but they happen regardless of what we want, how we feel, when they occur or even how long they last. However, it’s what happens inside through the different seasons that matter. Or as John Maxwell puts it, ‘Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.’
