The Bible: What is it, how did we get it, and why does it matter? (Part 2)

One of our seven practices is to spend time reading and studying Scripture, but how do we do that and how do we answer questions from the unchurched or de-churched about why we choose to follow a 2000 year old book. How can we trust it and what does it have to say to us today?

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. Have you manipulated the Scriptures to your own ends? 
  2. How so, and why? 
  3. How are you going to make sure you avoid falling into that trap?
