  1. Why do you think ‘the problem of pain, suffering and death’ is the most common reason people reject Christianity?
  2. Read John 11:1-46. Describe Jesus’ response to the death of Lazarus (v 17-37).
  3. Jesus resurrected Lazarus (v 38-46) and later returned from the dead himself. If Jesus has victory over death, then how does that effect your personal situation right now?
