We are called into a relationship with God. We look to him for His unconditional love and acceptance, but only offer conditional obedience in return. Instead of forming a relationship with Him, we instead, settle for a deal. If He doesn’t fulfil the part of the deal we think He should, we walk away from our relationship with Him.
