This series will deal with the relationship between Jesus Christ and the world and describe how the church can best engage the culture that surrounds them.

1. Which people, places, values and morals define our Western/Aussie culture right now?
2. Read John 3:16–17 – what was unique about Jesus’ approach to the world? How did Jesus approach the culture of his day (1st century)?
3. Christ and Culture diagram – which of three models (Transformationist, Counter-culturist, Relevant) did you identify with the most and why?
4. The cultural idols of children/grandchildren/friends and education were highlighted – where can these be a greater love than God in your own life?
